Event Planning
As Co-Coordinator for Live at the Hive for the Yellow Jacket Activity Board (YJAB) and Student Producer for the BFA Acting Senior Showcases, I was responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing several live events for the campus community. My work included email communications with my collaborators and team, creating itineraries and timelines, and evaluating the planning process and execution of the event.
Yellow Jacket Activity Board (YJAB)
From 2023-24, I was a Co-Coordinator of YJAB's Live at the Hive committee, which brought live entertainment acts to campus. I researched, vetted, and contacted artists, facilitated contract negotiations, provided performance and venue details, assembled hospitality gifts, and oversaw all other aspects of event planning and coordination.
GALA Hispanic Theatre
One of my assigned projects as the Intern to the Departments of Education and Special Events was to help GALA prepare for its annual fundraising event. For the 2023 fundraiser, they were using Auctria, which was new to the organization. I created a user manual for volunteers and staff based on the Auctria help center tutorials and walkthrough guides to expedite the onboarding and setup processes.
I also created the study guide for GALA's 2022 youth production Principe y Principe. I researched local school curriculum, the themes of the show, and interactive activities for young audience members to engage deeply with the production.
